Funny, how after quite a few days in the single digits, the 30's feel almost balmy. ;)
31 of us braved the cold tonight, and enjoyed an evening on Troy Wenger's pond, and games and snacks at Richard & Jennifer's.
At one point in the evening, Darrin was standing quietly on the ice watching the youth, and Jennifer asked him what he was thinking. He responded, "I was thinking that it would be kind of fun to have this many kids." I think my eyes got a little big at that particular moment. If I hadn't sneezed earlier, and inadvertently expelled my gum, I may have spit it out now. Funny how my mind immediately imagined the pile of laundry 30 kids might entail. I told him he may have married the wrong woman. lol! But yes, we all agreed it sure would be lively and fun. :)
Richard drove 3 vehicles down so we had some light, and he even managed to have some Christian music playing in the background.
There were quite a few different 'games' going on out on the pond; may be a few bruised muscles tomorrow!
Jennifer & Emily had a very yummy spread for us, and so we warmed up inside with snacks and games.
Evening ended with quite a few hopeful "please-can-we-have-a-two-hour-delay" tomorrow thoughts. :)
